David Bowie was totally wired in the seventies, and guess what, he still is - but now it's an electronic high rather than a chemical one.

He was one of the first music megastars to have a serious web presence, which has since developed into a huge online community. Bowienet encourages you to sign up by tempting you with the chance of bumping into David on the site, being able to take part in some exclusive web-only events, and having access to the members area, where you can be member of the week and create a play list for the site's radio channel.

Mr. Bowie's latest news buzzes around waiting to be clicked on; from there you can access record releases, tour schedules and any specials or appearances on television and radio all over the world. Next up is the Discourse, a huge interactive forum where fans can talk to each other and post questions for the man himself. David answers selected enquiries, and turns questioner by asking the fans their opinions. There is also a nice little gizmo where you can see who else is online, and which bit of the site they are looking at.

David's love of the contemporary art scene is reflected on the site with a gallery of work submitted by users covering poetry, sculpture, multimedia and even music. And I haven't begun to talk about the section on the man and his music, which includes personal journal entries, a full chronology, including every track in its entirety, and videos and photos. Bowie's career has spun over five decades, and maybe the secret to his success is the inventiveness and freshness that this site also exhibits.

Nichts anderes war anzunehmen. Obwohl ich als Nichtmember hier nicht wirklich mitreden kann.
Man vergesse aber nie ; there is a purpose for all of that. :wink:

aber Übersetzungen muss eine gewisse Freiheit erlaubt sein, habe mir aber Mühe gegeben.

- mich allerdings doch verwundert fragend warum jemand der ständig denglischt und viel dieser Sprache nutzt diesen Text dann nicht auch für sich übersetzen kann :?:


David Bowie war sehr unter Einfluss von einer Droge in den Siebziegern und er ins es noch - jetzt aber  ist es eher eine der elektronischen den der chemischen Art.
Er war einer der Ersten Musikmegastars mit ernsthafter Webpräsenz welche sich seither in eine immense online Community entwickelt hat. Bowienet verleitet dich Mitglied zu werden mit der Aussicht auf der Site auf David zu treffen, oder damit an einigen exklusiven webonly (Nurweb-klingt echt doof) Events teilzuhaben, und mit Zugang zur Mitgliederzone Mitglied der Woche zu werden und Abspiellisten für den Radiokanal der Seite zu kreieren.
Mr. Bowies letzte News schwirren herum um geklickt zu werden. Von da aus bekommst du Zugang zu Plattenzahlen, Tourterminen und anderen Specials oder Auftritten in Fernsehen und Radio überall auf der Welt. Das Nächste ist ein riesiges interaktives Forum wo Fans miteinander reden können und Fragen and den Mann selbst stellen können. David beantwortet ausgesuchte Fragen und fragt Fans nach ihrer Meinung. Dort gibt es auch einen Fenster(?) (wie übersetzt ihr gizmo? in dem Fall)???
in dem du sehen kannst wer online ist und was er sich gerade auf der Site ansieht.
Davids  Liebe zur modernen Kunst spiegelt sich auf der Seite  in einer Galerie mit Arbeiten von Nutzern wider, betreffend Dichtung, Bildhauerei, Multimedia und eben auch Musik.
Und ich habe noch nicht einmal begonnen über  die Sektion die sich mit dem Mann selbst und seine Musik beschäftigt, welche persönliche Tagebucheinträge, eine vollständige Chronologie( mit jedem Track  in seiner Gesamtheit) und Videos und Fotos.
Bowie Kariere überspannt fünf Jahrzehnte und vielleicht ist das Geheimnis seines Erfolges der Ideenreichtum und die Frische die diese Seite darstellt.

natürlich darfst du, JEDER darf :!:  :!:
wollte damit nur sagen, ich habe nicht vor zukünftig noch einmal soetwas zu übersetzen. Diesesmal war der Text gerade noch kurz genug um das mal schnell hinzukriegen

wirklich so SORRY beate :cry:  aber das würde zu weit gehen.
Ich mache sowas ja auch nicht täglich und bin eigentlich nur froh soviel der Sprache zu beherrschen, dass ich auch mit englischen Texten im Netz klarkomme. Aber oft ist es eben mehr oder weniger ein Überfliegen und herauspicken der wichtigsten Dinge.
